This is for you if...

  • You’re cobbling together your birth plan and you’re feeling mentally stressed and nervous.

  • You want to feel strong in birth but worry that your lack of physical and mental preparation will prevent you from having the experience that you want.

  • You want an unmedicated vaginal birth, or want to labor as long as you can before getting the epidural, but you're just not feeling confident that you can do it - but you want to!!

  • You’re uncertain about how to navigate conversations with your doctor-- you're not sure exactly which questions to ask in the 15 minutes you have them in front of you, and not sure if they’re really on your side.

  • You find it difficult to stand firm in your beliefs and desires for your birth, feeling pressured by others and external circumstances.

  • You worry about feeling out of control during your labor.

  • You want to be able to enjoy the process of being pregnant and new motherhood without letting other things get in the way.

What if...

You could honor the subtle pull to prepare more INTUITIVELY for your birth and passage into motherhood

You could mentally reset either from a prior traumatic birth or from societal, conditioned thinking before giving birth this time?

You could grow your confidence and knowledge, and trust in your wise self BEYOND what you can learn on your own from books and classes?

NOW is your time to become the "boss of your birth," so you can call the shots, voice your truth and make decisions from a place that's rooted in confidence, empowerment, and desire, rather than fear and victimization.

How many times have you been dreaming about your birth, feeling really excited, and thinking, “I can do this!”

But then, almost instantly the doubt creeps in...

Am I capable of having the birth that I want?

Is my doctor going to be supportive?

How can I possibly have a positive second-birth experience after a traumatic first birth?

Why do I feel like I’m all alone and having to work so hard to feel confident?

How can I have a positive birth experience that doesn’t traumatize me?

How am I going to handle the pain?

And will my partner do the right things to support me?

It’s like the fear and the unknown are canceling out your ability to feel confident.

We’ve totally been there.

Pregnant with my first, I (Nicole) sat in so many birthing classes and read so many books, knowing deep down that my body was engineered to do this. But the idea of birthing in a hospital STILL made me feel nervous and anxious. (And holy crap, a baby has to come out of where?!) I figured gathering lots of information was enough. I hoped for the best.

But HOPING FOR THE BEST turned out to be TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING strategy.

During my first birth, so much that happened took me by surprise. I actually wasn’t prepared. My lack of clarity about my birth desires caused me to hand over critical decisions during my birth.

This led to a cascade of interventions I wasn’t expecting.

After experiencing a birth in which I felt disregarded and not in control, followed by the stress and fatigue of caring for a colicy baby, I spiraled into postpartum depression during the first few months of motherhood. In retrospect, my birth and transition to motherhood were traumatic and it took me years of recovery and healing to be ready for another baby.

When I became pregnant with my second baby, I was excited but also scared. I took it as a call from my soul to see this birth as an invitation to move through my next level of healing.

Determined to experience birth as empowering, I dove deep into learning the HOWs and WHYs of birth, so that I wasn't just believing everything I heard at face value. Instead, I was on a quest to truly KNOW and TRUST my body. I wanted to birth from within.

I discovered and practiced the critical and often overlooked INNER work that’s required to have a truly satisfying birth. And shifting my focus to prepare mentally, emotionally, and physically TOTALLY made the difference!

My second birth was unmedicated in a hospital (yes, it's totally possible!) and ecstatic on every level.

I tapped an inner well-spring of strength and surrender that enabled me to be fully present, to move and breathe my body intuitively, and to be vocal about my needs.

My second birth healed me.

My second birth helped me grow as a woman and mother.

My experiences in birth lit the fire within me to continue my studies and empower other mothers -- because every mother deserves the best birth possible.

Since 2012, I've shared these step-by-step practices with mothers through private coaching and small groups.

They learned and practiced the steps to cultivate true inner strength for birth.

The results?

Mothers using their tools, feeling calm, expressing their feelings, staying connected to their body and birth, and telling their positive birth story, feeling so satisfied!

What Mothers Have To Say

“I was able to have my baby VBAC with my doctor helping me during the pushing part. It was great, I felt like I was in control the whole time and I have to thank you, the program and the amount of information and education on the whole process!!! Laboring is a much more complex, personal and out-of-body experience than people really provide context on and I feel so excited and happy to have spent the time learning and getting up to speed on the process, so much different out one from my first pregnancy :) !!!

-Marinela E.

"This was my third pregnancy and I was hoping to have a more positive birth experience compared to my first two deliveries.  I was feeling anxious about how this delivery would go and I wanted to be more prepared to have a calm birth.

This course was different because I felt like I was training for birth.  Instead of just hoping for the best, I actually trained my mind and body to prepare for birth.  I remember Nicole saying that when you run a marathon you train for many weeks so that you are prepared.  Preparing for birth should be similar.

It helped me be prepared for my birth and know that birth can be a positive experience instead of a scary or even negative one.

Nicole is wonderful and made me feel very comfortable opening up.  I noticed that each one of us in the course had different concerns and worries.  Nicole listened to us and help us address our own individual concerns.

This course went above my expectations. I focused on my pregnancy and birth, and overall it helped me to have a very positive birth experience!

-Shona P.

"This course made me realize how much power over my body my mind can have. Specifically, becoming more knowledgeable about what I can expect during the delivery and strategies I can use to get through active labor. The course also helped build my level of confidence by repeating the mantras and having me visualize the birth of my son. The act of giving birth which previously seemed like it was going to be such an impossible task started to seem attainable and then natural.

Nicole is extremely knowledgeable and is a calm presence that many pregnant women need during this life-changing period. Both Nicole and the course improved my life by encouraging me to advocate for myself because we (myself and my baby) are worth it."

Marinela

“In my experience, most expecting mothers don't really prepare for birth because either they don't think it is necessary or they don't have time. However, this course has taught me the importance of how to prioritize yourself and take the time to truly turn inwards during pregnancy, birth and post-partum. I highly recommend it!”

Shona

“I just wanted to let you know that if it wasn't for your course and support I don't know if I would have switched doctors despite feeling uncomfortable with my first doctor. Your support really made me take initiative and not accept the lack of attention from the doctor's office. Also the yoga breathing definitely got me through the contractions and visualizing the delivery over and over again.”

Michelle

“There are very few people in life who can inspire us and I am proud to say that I had you as my friend/mentor and my yoga guru during the most difficult phase of my life. Many, many thanks.”

Sushma

“Nicole, thank you so much for everything you do for mothers and mothers-to-be. You have taught us all so much you empower us with your education. I've used so much of your advice...I asked the right questions which helped me make decisions that I was comfortable with. I learned so much more with my second pregnancy than my first and that's because I had your guidance. Thank you for all you do for us mothers!”

FAQs

  • I’m a first time mom and I’m not sure what kind of birth I want, is this a good program for me?

Yes! We've found that a lot of first-time moms go into information-overload, reading all the books, taking all the courses and sending themselves into overwhelm. But more does not equal better! This program is ideal for you if you haven't figured out what you want. The course itself is designed to help you craft your plan with the proper timing.

  • I’m a second time mom and my first birth(s) were disappointing. Can I really have a different birth the next time around?

Yes, you can absolutely have a different (more positive) experience this time around regardless of your birth experiences of the past. Nicole is also available to support reflection on your past births in a way that encourages learning and healing. You are the boss of your birth, and this program will guide you to the discovery of what needs to happen for you this time to make it more satisfying.

  • I’m a mom of twins….Will I be able to relate?

Absolutely, yes. Moms of multiples are just as important and can benefit as much as any other mother. We have experts in our circle who are also experienced twin moms and eager to share their twin-specific strategies.

  • I’m planning an epidural / C-section, is this program appropriate for me?

YES! This course is NOT limited to mothers who want a vaginal/unmedicated birth. All methods of bringing your baby into this world are embraced, and our aim is to reduce the unnecessary use of medication and c-section due to fear, intimidation, victimization or avoidance. When you CHOOSE medication or c-section (yes, even an emergency c-section can be a conscious choice), your experience in birth can be one of joy and empowerment-- an ecstatic birth.

Birth is not the finish line.
